ANITECH EDUCATION · PRACTICE KIT v1.1
The timer starts with your first committed input. Paste and drop are blocked in the typing box. Short passages repeat to fill the session. Text still being composed at time-out is excluded.
*Five Unicode grapheme units = one practice word. Spaces count. This is not an official exam marking method. See Guide.

Text is normalised to Unicode NFC, then segmented into visible grapheme clusters. A cluster may contain several Bengali code points. Spaces count as units. Gross practice WPM = committed units ÷ 5 ÷ elapsed minutes. It measures the final text, not physical keypresses.
Adjusted practice WPM = max(0, committed units − edit distance) ÷ 5 ÷ minutes. Accuracy uses edit-distance alignment against the attempted reference prefix; unattempted trailing text is excluded. Word-level alignment supplies review items. Case, punctuation and extra spaces can count as differences.
These are transparent practice measures. They do not reproduce WBPSC or another authority's marks, key-depression rules or qualification decisions. Practice speed targets are chosen by you. No exam pass/fail or certificate is issued.
Use a current Chrome or Edge desktop browser with Intl.Segmenter. Bengali input relies on your installed Unicode keyboard. Fonts are included in the paid offline file. No external scripts, API, account or cloud upload are used. Your computer and browser profile are responsible for access to local history. Browser storage is not encrypted. A USB keyboard on mobile may work but has not been verified.
Paid edition: personal use by one learner. Do not resell or share the app file. A coaching centre or shared lab needs a separate licence. You may print your own practice reports. Anitech Cafe: +91 62890 19626, www.anitechcafe.in. No subscription is required for this downloaded version.
